I’m in business since the age of 16 selling computing services at any form. Its been now 20 years and everyday of my life (about 7300 days), my mind will always be thinking of how do I get people to put their money into my pocket.
The action of simply having someone else parting their money and placing them into my pocket is a very simple task. However, it takes a lifetime to master the technic to have this transaction done in a most satisfied way.
These 20 years let me figured out that there are only 3, yes, just 3 main things that people will rush to pay you for.
(1) Pleasure (2) Opportunity (3) Solution
God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what. (Hebrews 4:12-13 MSG)
This week I’ve been thinking about the love of Christ and our journey with Him. It triggered mainly because I know of a strong relationship that turned sour after so many years. Are we taking our love ones for granted? Are we living a life with God but as if He is non-existent?
The Book of Hebrews is indeed written to the Jews who had turned to Christianity but wanted to go back to their old Jewish culture.
Read Heb 4 to 6. It mentioned about how we ought to not turn the word of God null. It is possible that the Word of God become numb in our lives. It is also possible that we crucify Christ again and again to a point where we are not able to get into God’s purpose. Yes, His grace is more than enough for us, His promises is real, but yet if we do not mix it with faith, His promises will never work in our lives.
These 2 chapters also showed us that we should not take grace for granted. Let us move towards deep in His word and not just stay as babes who drink milk. But instead, let us move on towards perfection.
Entreprenuer.com is my favourite magazine and I really appreciate what the guys are doing over there. Because of this, i’ve made it my homepage. Today, there is an article that really encouraged me a lot. You can read it here (https://www.entrepreneur.com/article/242131). Its title is “5 Reassuring Tips for Better Balancing Entrepreneurship and Parenthood” which captures me because it is exactly where I am at this point of my life journey.
The first month of this year is almost over, and many had asked me whats my resolution for this year. Usually I’ll share and talk about prosperity and relate it to financial freedom, financial success and so forth. However this year, “Happiness” is what came to my mind. To think of it, prosperity is really more than just having lots of money and cashflow in your bank account. The bible relates prosperity with our soul in (3 John 1:2). Hence my resolution for this year is really to be prosper in my soul and pursue happiness, when this happens, the rest will come forth.
Welcome to my blog. For many years I’ve been wanting to record my life journey somewhere. What really stop me is because my bad english or my ability to express myself using words. So doing this is really something challenging for me. In any case, now that I’ve started it, I will keep on writing and hope to improve overtime.
There are also many areas in my life that I would like to share, but it will be impossible to have them all available publicly online. Hence I’ve been thinking of the which direction I should be writing on. It is on 18th January 2015 that I’ve got a direction when I attended a Church District meeting when Sun Ho shared a word on stage saying “Don’t think about what you CAN’T do, but think about what you CAN do for God.” Thats how this blog started its life.
I’m not a Pastor or Bible Scholar, just an ordinary businessman were making money is my main priority. This blog will record all my personal spiritual encounters with God. It will also record burning questions in my mind as well as topics that Christians tries to shy away from. So I hope that this blog will bless you just as how I’ve been blessed throughout these years.
Stay Happy Always!
